Pray for yourself: Mighty Father, take me into more of Christ today.
I ask for this because I see my Lord Jesus high and lifted up, seated at your right hand on the Throne of Glory, worthy of all praise in the majesty of his supremacy. That’s why I want more of him in my life, and even more, why I want him to have more of me.
Therefore, please increase within my soul the kind of praises heard from the armies of heaven who are even now singing to my Redeemer King: “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts; the whole earth is full of your Glory!”
Reveal to me greater depths and breadths of who my exalted Savior is and what his kingdom is all about.
In my daily commitments, may he have no rivals. In all my relationships, may he have no equals! In all that I desire, may he remain forever the Incomparable One—in a class by himself with no duplicates or substitutes.
By your Spirit, cause his infinite significance to eclipse the claims that any others might make on me.
Thrill me increasingly with how he outranks every other being in Heaven, earth, or hell.
May he retain the singular focus of my praises, just as he will be the focus of all praise from all creation for all ages to come.
Magnify him to me afresh this day as both sovereign and supreme! Lift him up in my heart so powerfully that I continually delight in him—not only as all I need or as all I want but for what he truly is: ALL I HAVE.
Your precious Son is my everything!
