Christ’s supremacy over history

Pray for yourself: Father of all the ages, take me into more of Christ today.

Hallelujah! I thank you that your Son inhabits time and eternity, declaring the end from the beginning!

Even so, I want him to fully inhabit my life and reign supreme—every day, every minute, every hour.

I want him to take charge of the direction of my life—from the beginning to the end and on into the coming ages.

Therefore, Father, cause my “history” to become fully wrapped up in “His Story” so that you may fulfill every facet of the place you have decreed for me within your eternal plan—a plan to sum up everything under Jesus as Lord.

Hallelujah! Ruled by his sovereign direction, the path of world history is moving toward its grand culmination, the consummation of what you designed before anything came into being.

Therefore, I pray that you will ensure that my life also fulfills my ordained destiny in Christ more with every passing day, leading to the fulfillment of your grand intentions for why you created me and saved me to begin with.

Hallelujah! The Lord Jesus Christ is truly the Preeminent One, the Supreme One—in time, space, and history. It is all about him.

Accordingly, please ensure the same is true for me in my union with Jesus. May those who later read the record of my life clearly see that I was all about Jesus!
