Christ's names

Pray for yourself: Holy Father, take me into more of Christ today.

As Malachi prophesied, from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, make the name of your Son great in every place on the earth. 

But let this come to pass right now in my walk with Jesus as you fulfill the promises found in the many names given to him in your Word.

May his nature and his works revealed in his many names be seen in and through me. I ask for the spread of his name and his fame to increase through me where I live.

Show me how to live in a way that reveres what the many names of Jesus proclaim. May my devotion to him reveal that he is as infinitely treasured to me here on earth just as he already is in heaven. 

Empower my daily journey under his lordship so that I cause the name of the Lord to be praised everywhere I go!
